My domain host allows me to point my domain to my IP.
The problem is: I don't have a static IP address and NTLWorld doesn't provide them as far as i know for home users. Does any one know a different way of setting it up? It wont work with stuff like no-ip.com because the IP entry has to be an actual IP Address. Can anyone help? Matt |

no-ip can suck my big toe. With a dynamic IP, I recommend that you choose a free domain host. no-ip is a subdomain service.

try dynamic dns dot org
You could try http://www.dyndns.org/ they have a list of domain names you could point your ip address to. They have a list of clients that may work with your system. http://www.dyndns.org/services/dyndns/clients.html

dyndns.org has a list of handy domain names that you can use, but your domain will be a subdomain under their domain name (e.g. foo.dyndns.org). You can register a custom domain with dyndns.org and use their nameservers, but you have to pay a fee if you do use a custom domain.
