Setting up nameservers on separate IP addresses

Im in need of help please.

I have root priveliges on 2 Unix boxe running fedora core 2 each with its own IP address:

unixbox1.hostingco.net
xxx.xxx.xx.173
unixbox2.hostingco.net
xxx.xxx.xx.70

I have registered two domains; domain.net & domain.com, at goddady using two nameservers run by the company that I rent the two Unix machines off. One of these nameservers shares the same IP address as unixbox1.hostingco.net. the other requires a call to the companies tech support if i require changes.

Now I am hosting domain.net on separate virtual hosts on unixbox1.hostingco.net. I now want to create two nameservers: ns1.domain.net and ns2.domain .net. I am thinking that I will need two IP addresses to do this properly so I intend to use xxx.xxx.xx.173 (unixbox1) for ns1 and xxx.xxx.xx.70 (unixbox2) for ns2. How do I create the two nameservers?

I have tried to understand it by reading numerous articles online and looking through O'Reilly's as well as the posts on this forum but cannot get my poor head around it...Someone please help me?

Now the details...

After seeing a previous reply in another thread I've resubmited the above with the correct domains etc. I was under the impression that declaring these could constitute a risk but I guess thats just me being a paranoid newbie:

I have root priveliges on 2 Unix boxe running fedora core 2 each with its own IP address:

v-1633.easyco.net
38.115.17.173
v-1637.easyco.net
38.115.17.191

I have registered two domains; efastnet.net & efastnet.com, at goddady using two nameservers:

ns1-1633.easyco.net 38.115.17.173
ns2-1633.easyco.net 198.138.5.70

These are administered by the company that I rent the two Unix machines off

Now I am hosting efastnet.net and efastnet.com on separate virtual hosts on v-1633.easyco.net. I now want to create two nameservers: ns1.efastnet.net and ns2.efastnet.net.

I am thinking that I will need two IP addresses to do this properly so I intend to use 38.115.17.173 for ns1 and 38.115.17.191 for ns2. How do I create the two nameservers?

I have tried to understand it by reading numerous articles online and looking through O'Reilly's as well as the posts on this forum but cannot get my poor head around it...Someone please help me?

First, login at godaddy.com (my account), at the
"Domain Names" section please select "Manage Domains",
click on "efastnet.net ",select at the right-bottom
"Domain Host Summary", "Click here to see details or to
modify. " and insert:

Host: ns1.efastnet.net
IP Address: 38.115.17.173

Host: ns2.efastnet.net
IP Address: 38.115.17.191

Now you can go and configure your dns-server at your
Unix boxe but don't forget that changes take up to 48 hours.
