static ip for a dns server?
Do I have to have a static ip to run a dns server? right now i'm using service from no-ip.com to point my ip to my domain name.

if you want to manually fix your domain host information for your domain every time your IP changes then yes, you can run the server off your own machine. Your dynamic IP domain however will not help you.
