Hi !
I am learning DNS. So, I have a silly question I want to create subdomains. like sub-domain.main-domain.com Problem is that after I create the entries on the file. URL works fine. But "www.sub-domain.main-domain.com" does not. It gives me 404 error. I think I have to add something to the hosts file. But I am not sure what or how. Could you help please ? I created entry for URL (it is working) but URL is not working. Kindly advise ! Thanks! ![]() |

Since all you mentioned was a hosts file do this:
127.0.0.1 www.subdom.exeedra.com replace the 127.0.0.1 with the proper IP.
