I'm trying to get my website to where I can view it both internally and externally but I can't seem to get either DNS or IIS configured to allow this. My setup consists of the following:
w2k3 ad domain with a w2k3 webserver sitting in a seperate workgroup. AD integrated DNS server on DC and a Primary DNS server on webserver. My domain: www.nusolutions.biz Bellsouth is ISP 205.152.37.254 205.152.144.235 TZO is dynamic provider 216.75.195.44 216.55.0.21 IP as of right now: 68.222.196.30 My internal network seems to be working fine as I'm able to access the internet on all of my systems. My webserver has a static IP and is able to access the internet also. I've installed IIS and created a forward LZ on the webserver. IIS is pointing to the correct location of the website and has the following host headers created: 192.168.1.x - www.nusolutions.biz 192.168.1.x - nusolutions.biz 192.168.1.x - internal.nusolutions.biz 68.222.196.30 - " 68.222.196.30 - " DNS contains the following records: NS.tzo.com - 216.75.195.44 ns2.tzo.com - 216.55.0.21 ns3.tzo.com ns4. ns5. NS - www.nusolutions.biz - 192.168.1.x ; 68.222.196.30 NS - internal.nusolutions.biz - "" A - internal - 68.222.196.30 A - internal - 192.168.1.x A - www - 192.168.1.x A - www - 68.222.196.30 I've changed these around so many times I've forgotten which way is up. I know these are configured wrong. Again the probem is that I can only access www.nunsolutions.biz on the webserver and no where else. I would appreciate ANY assistance on this issue. TIA |
