Tired Now!! please help with bind / djbdns
hi,
I have linux box with RH9. What i want ... this machine should act as DNS server for others it can query to DNS provided by ISP must work while ISP is offline (it should not take ages if ISP is offline) subdomain capable thats it ... i tried bind but died in its complex configuration files ... even tried to use GUI based tools but no luck ... I heared that dbjdns is some easy to use tool ... so can you tell me how to **** off this bind and start using djbdns ... sorry for the bad words but i really get lost because of it. Please tell me step by step intsturctions ... i am not that much familiar with DNS thingy. thanks in advance. best regards, aashu |
