TLDs reliability
I've been using whois to search for all gTLDs and I've seen that .com and .net have 13 or so nameservers in different locations, but .org has only two and they seem to be in the same datacenter in Arizona. If I understand DNS correctly, every lookup for an .org has to be answered by any of these nameservers, so if this datacenter lost connectivity for any reason, the whole .org TLD would be down. Is this true?
So, being a little paranoid, would it be better to have a .com instead of a .org just because the .org nameservers are less redundant than .com ones? Or the number and location of nameservers is not important at all?
