Trying to do a fall back i think it's named.
Ok have 2 dedicated servers, with each Binds running on them. i have ns1 & ns2 running on server A and ns5 & ns6 on server B. My first problem is that i'm always directed to the ns5 & ns6 on server B wich is a back up server. I would want to decide that the server A be the main host and if server A goes down the DNS on server B would automaticly pickup the work.
i'm new so be easy on me ![]()

I think you're stuck with randomly selected name servers getting queried, but I would like to know what your domain is so that I can see if everybody is always directed to 5 and 6 and if anything can be done.
