UNable to resolve domains
Hi
We are facing a peculiar probllem in resolving domain e.g letzbuy.com. We get error " can't fine domain. Server Failed". We are using ns2.spectranet.com and ns5.spectranet.com as DNS. The site is opening fine in anonymous browser and thru other ISP's DNS too. Trace is also going thru to the server. What culd be the problem? Rgds Lawrence |

Hello,
You should be able to connect to port 53 (DNS service), so check also your firewall settings. To test type in command prompt "telnet yourserver 53". Regards

Welcome to Dev Shed. Is letzbuy.com your domain or just a random domain on the net? If it's your domain, do you have other domains as well that you can't see? If so, is it all of your domains or just a few? When you say the site is opening fine in anonymous browser, ca you please clarify? |

We are an ISP and have our own DNS ns2.spectranet.com and ns5.spectranet.com. Our leased line users are not able to open the site using these DNS. letzbuy.com is not our domain. We are able to telnet to port 53 of the dns of this domain. There's another site buysamsungmobile.com hosted on same DNS which doesnot open but comes up fine in anonymous browsing site webwarper.net Any help more than welcome Lawrence |
