Where to start with DNS?! (Complete Newbie)
Hi,
I have just bough my first dedicated server (Suse9 Pro)  and successfully installed MySQL, Apache and PHP. I have webmin as a CP.I have edited the http.conf file for my virtual hosts under the only configured IP address (http://81.29.73.128/). Now I need to point my domains to the server. I tried searching but most of the post seem a bit advanced. Where do I start? Do I need to configure all my IPs? (4 of them) Do I create two name servers first? Anyone know any good tutorials for idiots like me? LMAO

You start by trying to set things up yourself first. Then ask specific questions. "Do I need to configure all my IPs? (4 of them)" No, you only need 1 IP to do most anything you want. "Do I create two name servers first?" At your registrar you need to register 2 name server hosts based off of your domain. Registering a name server involves telling your registrar the host you want (i.e. ns1, ns2, etc) and the IP of your name server. You almost always may set both ns1 and ns2 to the same IP.
