Windows 2003 Server DNS has a huge bug in it where it leaks paged pool if you're not using Active Directory. After a few hours or days your CPU utilization will start ramping up on its way to 100% and causes DNS timeouts. The fix is only available talking to customer support (the fix is not readily available). I have the fix if you need it.
Pretty annoying huh? Almost makes you want to use Bind, doesn't it? Regards, Alan ____________ DNS Services: www.nettica.com |
