Windows 2003 - Dynamic DNS Server
Hi,
I have a Windows 2003 Server running with DNS, etc. set up. Now, I want to integrate dynamic dns functionality so I can connect with my home clients and change the A records for subdomains... basically the same as services like DynDns.com, etc. offer. Anybody knows how to set that up? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, tom |

By default I think Microsoft DNS Server sets up the zones as dynamic. By dynamic I mean you tell the DNS server any changes you'd like to make with the zone. However, I don't know how to use that server, and I don't know if there are any commmandline tools that would aid in automating record manipulations. I've done it with BIND, but I can't help you with Microsoft DNS Server.
