Question Two www's in a URL

So I came across this URL and I can't figure out what the 2 www's are doing in there?

    www . eecg . toronto . edu / ~amza / www . mindsec . com / files / x 86 regs . html

Please explain the whole URL (the ~amza part too)

The only part of this that is related to DNS is the domain name:
    www . eecg . toronto . edu

The rest of the URL is just the path to the web page. Each section of the URL is possibly the name of a folder on the server, except the last one, which is possibly the name of a file on the server.

www . mindsec . com has no special meaning, it's just the name of a folder.

By convention, ~amza means that the website belongs to the user amza; but this is not enforced in any way, it is just a convention that some people follow.
