    Forwarding subdomains to a URL

hi, I have my site running on IIS 5, and I want to set up a subdomain to forward the user to a directory. For example, my site is njnyrails.com. If I want trains.njnyrails.com to foward to njnyrails.com/trains, how would I go about doing that? I am NOT running Windows 2000 server. Thanks!

    >> my site is njnyrails.com. If I want trains.njnyrails.com

You need to create an A record of trains.njnyrails.com to point to an IP reachable in public.

As far as how to forward HTTP requests of trains.njnyrails.com to njnyrails.com/trains/ that would be OFF TOPIC here. You need to ask this in Windows forum.

A quick hack way would be to have a script that does this for you. Just point all the domains to one script and have it then chop it apart and redirect the user
