Domain listed twice
I have a strange DNS issue that i could use some help with. Addmitedly, I'm a DNS noob, so go easy on me.
We have our web site hosted with an external hosting provider. The domain for the web site is the same as our internal Domain. I have the Public DNS pointed to our web host, and thus our web site works fine on the internet.
Internally however, when I try to pull up our website, I get a page not found error. Doing an nslookup returns two interesting pieces.
1st, it tries to put our domain name twice (i.e. mydomain.com.mydomain.com)
2nd, is that it resolves to our internal DNS server. This makes sence as the domain would think it is mydomain.com, but I'm not sure how to get it to point to the web host to resolve the web site.
Any help is appreciated.

Domain.com.domain.com indicates that the dns was not set up using absolute domain names... Meaning that domain.com is appended to any dns entries. So you can either set up dns by:
(notice the ending period in option 2.)
