Observe a Peak of aroung 100K DNS queries at a particular instance of time in a day
I just setup a DNS Server and it is resolving fine.
What i am experiencing is, I daily observe a Peak of 100K DNS queries at a particular time which is very high than my usual dns resolution queries.
This peak occurs at 18:00 GMT +5 ..
Kindly Can any one explain why this happen ??

Unless you are an ISP, there should be no reason. Are you hosting a record for a web that has traffic spikes during this time of the day? You'll need to look at the source of the requests. Also, is there anything in common with the requests that are being made?
Disable recursion if you only want to resolve queries for zones that you are authoritative for, assuming you are not using these DNS servers from your internal network as well for name resolution.
