    Hosts file issues

Hey all! I have a slight issue thats not making much of any sense. I have my hosts file setup to redirect traffic from certain urls to a local host. Problem is, all but one of them actually redirect and I can't figure out why. Were blocking traffic because our salespeople are goofing on sports sites too much. The one that won't redirect is foxsportsradio.com.

The only thing I can think of is there is some type of mask or something where the url is faked and thats why it isn't working, but I have no idea. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

By URLs, you mean just host names, right?

What happens if you ping the blocked host?

Maybe there are subdomains you need to block as well.

Like Oreo said, could be something else going on. Just to confirm, your host file looks like this:

    127.0.0.1 foxsportsradio.com
