Redirect and show originating URL
Is it possible to point/redirect from domain.com to newdomain.com and still show domain.com in the URL?
I've tried with a-records, CNAME and redirects and all end up showing the destination URL in the browser.
I know about frame redirects and was told this should be avoided.
Thanks in advance

It is not possible. You could install a proxy server on domain.com and have it proxy the requests to newdomain.com. The user would see domain.com in their browser and all requests would still go through the domain.com server, but the logic would be executed by the server running newdomain.com.
If both domains are on the same server you could configure your web server to serve both domains from the same document root.
