    UK domain transfer out

    Hi all,

First post here from a DNS newb so please be gentle!

I while ago I had a .co.uk domain name which the client asked to be transferred to another agency who use a different registrar. I requested a transfer out from the company I used to register the domain, provided them with a new IPSTAG, and they updated the domain with the new IPSTAG which the whois now shows.

However the domain name has now (apparently) expired, and I'm getting an OpenDNS guide page when I visit it.

The whois shows that the Nameservers are still pointing to the company I registered the domain with...

My question is, who now has control of the domain name? Will I be able to make updates to the Nameservers, or is that something that the new agency should have done?

And if the IPSTAG has been updated, does that mean it has been transferred or is there still a chance that the transfer didn't complete?

Thanks in advance and apologies for the stupid!

    ZT

The domain name in question would be extremely helpful!
