Unreal mode issue

hello, im having 'problems' in accessing full memory using unreal mode.

the problem is that it works fine... without entering in protected mode.

i can load r32 with address, use 0 DS to access this memory and its ok. i dont have to enter PE, load GDTR, load SEGMENT, leave PE.

why is that?

i use virtualbox for this. could it be related to v8086 mode? i dont think so because i belive virtualbox is lower level emulator, not using this (it emulate hardware, not use its features to act like real mode).

I really need to know whats wrong.

We'd like to help.

What do you mean by "unreal mode"?
What operating system and processor are you talking about?

If you want help from us you'll have to provide more information. Don't expect us to just know what "virtualbox" is, supply a URL pointing to information regarding that product. Also, if it has configurable options, which ones are you using?
