concurrent update problem
Hi,
i try to lock a row using a "SELECT FOR UPDATE WITH LOCK" statement. If a 2nd connection tries the same "SELECT FOR UPDATE WITH LOCK" statement it also succeeds. I am using java and jaybird 1.5.4 jdbc driver. I wanted to catch a "SQL ERROR -901 - Deadlock ..." Error but it is not being thrown. please help!!!
