Distribued data bases

I normally use postgresql, however for an upcomming project I will need a database that can have Master to Master replication across a LAN. The Postgresql solution don't seem to be very robust.
Is Firebird capable of doing this. Some of my google searches seem to indicate it can, however I can't find anything about it.

seems that can work the way you describe it (I didn't test it yet)

"N-way replication: Each target database can also be a source database in its turn, with replication being controlled by different instances of the replication server, or even by the same one."
