How to export DB from Firebird

I'm currently evaluating Java Databases and trying my hands on firebird but Daffodil DB seems to be more promising as it is J2EE certified and also complies with SQL 99 specifications and is also JDBC XA compliant. Is there any procedure to export database in firebird to Daffodil DB ????

    Hi,

There are many tools out there that can do a data-transfer from one db to another (eg, via ODBC/ADO). Database Workbench ( www.upscene.com ) is one of them. Either use the direct DataPump tool or export your data as INSERT INTO statements.

Firebird by itself doesn't support this.
