External Table File Format
Hi
I've searched Google for a couple of days trying to find the format of an external table. I use Delphi with the UIB components and need to create an external file to be imported into Firebird. I have a program that needs to add upwards of 100,000 records everytime it runs. It works OK with insert statements and commits every 1000 records but I would like to speed it up if possible. Thanks Taoh |

Hi
By two days I meant searching AND TRYING solutions without success and I couldn't figure out how to search just this forum. - I have now. I have managed to do what is required using external tools, but they use a binary format which I can't figure out. I am trying to create a set of data outside FB then import it. Cheers Taoh |
