Firebird 1.03 and Windows 2003

Hi All,

I am new to firebird.

Does anyone know if there are any problems with Firebird 1.03 running on Windows 2003 server with Hyper Threading?

It seems to run quite slowly compared with 1.5.

I would upgrade to version 1.5 but the vendor of our Line Of Business application has some query's that do not work on 1.5.

Hi,

There are indeed problems with Fb 1.0 and Windows Server 2003... You could try pinning Fb down to a single processor, or try Fb Classic.

There's also the issue with system restore stuff - or whatever it's called in Win2003.
