Thumbs up Firebird 1.5.1 RC3 released

from firebird-devel list

Quote:
New RCs for Fb 1.5.1 are now available here:

http://firebird.sourceforge.net/dow...erelease/1.5.1/

The build number is 4481 and builds for Win32 and Linux are available.

RC3 fixes a regression that appeared in RC2 concerning usage of UDFs.

We would be grateful if you could test these new RCs as this will help us
go to final release more quickly.

And, please, anyone using RC1 or RC2 - please throw it away and install
the new version. Bug reports based on older release candidates are not
very helpful.

RC Checker

I am more than ready to test any new FB release.

While I do not currently have a production level FB operation environment, regrettably, and so cannot load an adequate stress on it, I will report anything I have found.

Always gratitude to you FB developers, looking forward to
further and further improvements, so the engine flies as it is named.

Tatsu
