Firebird And Ibexpert

Cannot connect to the server. This is the message I am getting:

Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes successful execution of subsequents statements. I/O error for file "MYDB.FDB". Error while trying to open file.
No such file or directory.

I know the path and server names are OK. My table was created as sysdba, but also grant to another user. I tried both users, but the same error shows.

Any idea?????

Anna

Use TCP/IP

somethimes an error occurs when Interbase was previous instaled on machine.. to solve it , use TCP/IP connection instead Local and put on address:

yourmachinename:c:\dadabasename.fdb... or
localhost:c:\databasename.fdb

ok...
