Firebird and Semaphores

hello !!
I am stucked with a semaphores problem!
I have suse 9.3 running on a dell dual xeon with 2 gb mem.
The firebird is the 2.0.3.
I´ve just tunned the kernel with:
# sysctl -w kernel.sem="250 32000 100 128"
# sysctl -p
and the firebird.conf with
LockSemCount = 64

and I am receiving the message on firebird.conf:
Number of requested semaphores (64) is greater then size of the existing semaphore set (32).

What I am going on?
Why they dont obey me ?

Help me!! Please!

Hi,

I experienced this problem too, try to restart db server or, if you are using classic server restart xinetd, or just kill processes fb_lock_mgr and fb_inet_server. Lock manager need to restart and read updated kernel semaphores count...
