Hi dudes!
I'm a new Firebird user and recently I installed the Firebird Superserver v1.5.0.4290 for Linux (Mandrake 9,1)... After the installation, I verified if the server was ok... I tried the following test: # cd /opt/firebird/bin # isql -user sysdba - password masterkey # CONNECT /opt/firebird/examples/employee.fdb; I receive the following message: Statement failed, SQLCODE = -902 Your to user name and password ploughs not defined. Administrator Ask your database you set up the Firebird login. I ask as to configure such login? |

Have you checked folder where you have installed firebird? Default is /opt/firebird/ There should be file SYSDBA.password.
