Firebird process takes 500MB memory !
Hi

I've installed Firebird 1.5 on Windows 2003 Server platform. Database is very small - 5 tables with about 5000 records (records aren't large - max field size is 200 bytes,max fields in one table is 24). After 3 days working (about 2000 inserts and updates and 60000 selects) fbserver process takes 500MB memory !
I'm using .NET platform for development and Firebird .NET Provider.

Firebird memory problem
Hi,
I'm in the same situation. I use ODBC driver to connect to Firebird 1.5 and at the end of the day fbserver process takes 600-700MB memory.
Did you find any solution?

Did you try connecting with other clients too?

i'm using FIBPlus. i have about 70 tables currently and with 80.000 inserts it works just fine...i have a linux server.
