Firebird SQL server - memory problem
Hi there,
does some have experience with firebird sql server running under win 2003 server? We have a problem. We have a system running, with 10 clients (different os (win 2000/win xp)) Each request to the fb-server raise the memory usage from the fb-server. In one day up to 1.5 GB. The problem is, that this memory is not given free, after closing all applications. What could it be? (Sorry about my bad english) Ronni |

Oh, sorry.. I forgot.. We use direct connections and connections over the BDE. The version is the actual 1.5.3 version |

You should use at least an IBX for connections, not the best but still much better than the BDE for this purpose, and the interface is very similar...actually i didn't even know that you can connect to FB with BDE. And there is newer version of FB, FB 2 RC 5, still under testing but offering many new and very useful features. Take a look! |
