Firebird SQL server - memory problem

Hi there,

does some have experience with firebird sql server running under win 2003 server?
We have a problem. We have a system running, with 10 clients (different os (win 2000/win xp))
Each request to the fb-server raise the memory usage from the fb-server. In one day up to 1.5 GB. The problem is, that this memory is not given free, after closing all applications.

What could it be?

(Sorry about my bad english)

Ronni

Oh, sorry.. I forgot..
We use direct connections and connections over the BDE.
The version is the actual 1.5.3 version

You should use at least an IBX for connections, not the best but still much better than the BDE for this purpose, and the interface is very similar...actually i didn't even know that you can connect to FB with BDE.

And there is newer version of FB, FB 2 RC 5, still under testing but offering many new and very useful features. Take a look!
