Firebird tries to create LCK file on non-existing C:\WINNT\TEMP folder.
Hi,
Currently I am facing a problem related to firebird in which Firebird tries to create LCK file on C:\WINNT\TEMP folder which does not exist and then fails with exception. And, so my service in which firebird is used does not start. This TEMP folder appears to be hard-coded since this is not the valid TEMP folder that is defined as environmental variable. When I create this path manually, and then run my code, the execution goes ahead smoothly and service starts properly. I am using firebird version 1.5.3.4870. Is this problem resolved in later versions of Firebird? Thank you, Regards, Pallavi. |

Check firebird's config file, it might be hardcoded there
