I found recently an article
PHP5 Panic? http://www.phppatterns.com/index.ph...cleview/44/1/3/ whitch says mysql has an extension for interpreting php code inside an udf extension. look here: http://www.sklar.com/page/article/myphp Wouldn't it be nice to have such power inside Firebird SP-s, which by the way are so limited in features ? In an other article: Also the question was raised if full suport for sp-s in PHP could be implemented in databases but Postgresql was elected as the most prone to the endevour due to its already existing interface for defining external languages. Anybody hnows about such efforts in Firebird? |

I think the udf can be modified to work with the firebird server as for procedural laguage this will be done in the future versions . You can submit as a feature request in the
bug (features) tracking on the sf page https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?gr...028&atid=109028 (Have to register first as a user) |
