HELP: Windows remote connection to firebird(Linux)
Hi there,
i been struggling for few days now I want to access Firebird DB from my Windows machine to the firebird DB on my hosting server via flamerobin/firebird maestro but im getting error on trying to access it . SQL Error : I/O error for file /var/lib/firebird.fdb error while trying to write file bad description Error code -902 Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes successful execution of subsequent statement HELP, no ideas what to do now

is the firebird server installed on the Linux box up and running? Can you connect to database locally?
