How to explain lock statistics
OK, in there are is good articles about locks in IBPhoenix webpage - however - it is hard to benefit from them when I try to explain/interpret lock statistics report - what all those numbers mean and what can I do...
besides - is there good methods to get deeper information about transactions, record versions - not only those avialble in statistics report header (last active transaction Id and so on) OK - the straight way is to investigate FB code, which isn't easy. |

The straight way is to buy the Firebird Book. It contains a lot of useful information and will save you a lot of time you would have to spend analysing the FB code. |
