IBExpert blob export issue?
Hey guys. I have been using IBExpert to export my FDB data to SQL scripts with good results, until I ran into blobs. I've done a good deal of searching and it looks like exporting as scripts is not going to be the answer for me. BUT, the "Export Data" (vice "Export Data as Script") option does not seem to be active in any window. It's always greyed out. I thought that feature was supposed to be available in the Personal Edition?? Any hints?

Full Blob support in scripts is restricted to IBExpert Full Version. Holger www.ibexpert.com |

I guess I can't export blobs (as varchar data, not scripts) for SQL input at all with the Personal edition eh. Oy. |

if it is compatible to varchars, you might convert them using udfs (or buy and use full ibexpert version) Holger www.ibexpert.com |

I'm curious: how does a BLOB "literal" look like for Firebird?
