    Import from SQL DDL File?

I'm just getting started with Firebird and have an sql file with DDL commands in it to make tables and populate them in a database.

I already created a database with isql. I was wondering if there is a way I can have Firebird run the SQL file to create the tables for me. There are about 50 tables that need to be created and it'd be painfull to do it all by hand.

    Thanks.

    Call isql this way:

    isql -i your_script.sql

of course your script will have to contain appropriate login informations.
It's much like running scripts in Oracle's SQLPLUS.
