Need Help To Create Procedure and table using Shell function in vb.net

Hi All......
I tried to create a procedure and a table in to FB Database using Shell function in vb.net.The process is executing successfully but the changes are not made on to the database.I clearly used commit and all necessary statement in my script but its not effecting in DB.My script is successfully making changes when i execute it in ibexpert script manager.Please help me to do the same using shell function.waiting for ur help.
