no connection made target machine actively refused it
We have a windows 2003 server with client pc all installed with windows 2000 professional. We are running an application software using firebird 1.5.1
We trying to access the database from the client pc we get the message Failed to establish a connection . no connection could be made the target machine actively refused it We also tried from the cmd prompt on the client with telnet 3050 .Could not open a connection to host on port 23 : Connect failed rrsol ![]() |

Sounds like the Firebird service isn't running.
