Pictures/Images in BLOB fields vs Files
what could be better choice in case of FB (for desktop app, future use from web app possible)? Things that put me into some reflection is - as far as I know some other DBMS supports tablespaces and flexible management of physical location of data on disk and it gives some chance that large amount of pictures in DB cann't be an obstacle to fast use of tables or OLTP (without pictures...), however - how this is in case of FB.
What are other pro's and con's for FB? Any resources/experience stories available?
