    yep is the last one

Firebird V1.5 Release Candidate 9 for Windows (.zip) and Embedded Server for Windows (.zip) are available for download. Official Windows Installer for RC9 will follow shortly.
Win32 builds are ready and uploaded to the SF area. CVS tag is
    T1_5_0_RC9_4288.

This build contains fixes for all known regressions reported previously.
If nothing _critical_ is found during one week, the final release will appear
    by 20-FEB-2003.
Solutions for all non-critical issues will be defered till
    the first post-release.

lol..... I've been seeing that since RC6. I will just believe it when the final version is out

But anyway, this only guarantees that firebird developers are serious about what they are doing

Maybe is better this way instead of having many 1.5.x post releases with bugfixes. If Firebird would be a commercial product, I bet that this can be the case

In fact, I was asking about 1.5Release because they say that after 1.5 will be relesed we will be able to test the new 2.0Alpha1 (!?)
