    Resize Firebird Database


    hi all,
    i have database that i already insert about 50000 row
    and the database size is grown up

    i have delete the row but the size cannot shrink.
    how can i create empty database but with all table,trigger,key
    ,etc same as the original database

    Make a backup and then a restore for the database to get an empty database.
    Also you need to reset all the generator with a command like this for each generator:

    SET GENERATOR your_generator_name_here TO 1;

    is there any firebird function to do it?
    i mean,i don't want to use third party tool to backup and restore.
    i want to do it on my code.
