I've created a database using the default sysdba user.

I've created a role and a user and added the user to the role.

I have also assigned rights to the role for tables, views, and
procedures.

The problem is I can not see any any data in the tables whether I connect through the .net driver or use a gui tool such as ibeasy with the user I created. I can only see information if I use the sysdba account. I can see data using the new user if I use the odbc driver and msquery?

Any Ideas?

You have to specify the role when connecting to the database, e.g.
CONNECT 'c:\db.fdb' USER 'TEST' PASSWORD 'test' ROLE 'MYROLE';
