Sometimes slow commit

Hi,

I just installed FireBird2.0.4 and it has a funny behaviour. Somewhere in my application there's a pretty long transaction. The commit at the end of it about half the time (irregularly) took 3.5 seconds. It is less than a millisecond the other half.
If I use InterBase 5.0 it's always fast.
At December I tried FireBird2.0 (don't remember the last number) and it was fast as well.
Any idea how to solve it?

Everything else runs smoothly.
