SQL Beginner Question
I“ve just started working with Firebird databases and I would like to update a column (text value field) with uppercase characters (e.g. John -> JOHN). The problem is that spanish accents are not updated. Using the UPPER function Marķa turns MARķA. Is there a replace function or similar to change ķ for I? Where can I get some info about statements and functions for Firebird?.
Thanks in advance for your help and Happy Holidays. |

Look at the sticky thread on top of this forum for resources.
Note that I is uppercase for i and not for ķ
