Stored Procedure and memory
Hi. I want to know if for each call to a stored procedure, a process is initiated, or if a stored procedure is like a thread?

A stored proc is internal to the database, handled by the server engine, no need to worry about processes/threads

So, if there are many clients accessing the same stored procedure, I don't need to worry about the SP been loaded on memory? Will be a unique SP on memory been used for all clients, in diferent threads? |
