Switch FB model

In the Firebird manuals it is stated that switching model (Classic Server, SuperClassic, Superserver), can be done after installation.
It is not given how.
How can I easily switch model?

Hi!

If you are using Windows, then you can use the various install_<architecture>.bat files if you want to install the server as a Windows service. You first have to run uninstall.bat if you want to replace to existing installation listening on the same TCP port.

In case you want to run the server as an application, then use fbserver.exe for SuperServer and fb_inet_server.exe for Classic and SuperClassic. The only difference between Classic and SuperClassic here is that for SuperClassic you have to additionally provide the -m switch, which stands for "multi-threaded".

Thanks Thomas .
I see the mentioned .bat files are not included in the .exe-install. In the 'manual' install they are included. I will give this a try.
