Visio (2000) for Firebird DB modelling
Has anyone managed to import DB structure into Visio DB modelling diagrams (using ODBC driver as described in Vision help)? I tried - I managed to establish and test connection (that was OK) - however - when Vision 2000 was building diagram, it produced error dialog without any text (it sounds as joke - but it was so) - empty panel. So - no direction where to seek further. Whats your experience?
btw - Visio, at least 2000 - is not the rather stable software. What else modelling packages are used in practice for FB DB modelling? |

Never tested on Firebird, but one of the most powerful db modeling tools is Sybase Powerdesigner
