I'm having a problem with Flash MX. I'm doing a banner for a client and I suddenly can't get any of the text-based symbols to fade out to save my life. I have some text symbols in the movie that I made earlier in the day that work fine, but after a certain point none of them will fade out or in. I've even tried making new movies all together, and still no alpha fade. It works fine with vector objects (circles, etc) but not with text.
When I "play" the movie (*enter*) it shows that it works, but when I publish or "test movie" it stays original alpha % the whole time. Any ideas? What am I missing? ![]() |

Got it figured out, but thanks anyway.
I needed to set the text to "static" as opposed to dyanamic (unless I embed the text, I'm told) |
