Behaviours added to flash movie in Director

Can I do this?

I want to create an animation in flash which will be imported into director and placed on the stage scrolling from right to left - this scroll will be activated by the user clicking left or right buttons to determin the direction of the scroll. It will be looped.

The animation will be made up of a series of around 50 images imported from photoshop placed next to each other in a line so they appear to be attached to each other ie just one image.

Firstly, if I want this animation to scroll when user activates should I make the animation just one image rather than 50 separate ones. I should imagine this makes more sense, but then how do I do this...

I then want to be able to make some of the images within the flash animation interactive in director ie rollovers or on click

Can I do this in Director? I am confused by the help function and Flash MX bible

Any help much appreciated...
